Over the years, the Trust rapidly expanded its work and has reached persons with disabilities, including children, youth and adults in 11 Districts of Karnataka till date. An awareness on the “Disabilities'' and to explain about our programs on early intervention and early education, Residential School for Hearing Impaired and Garv se Livelihood, a wage employment program was held on 18th 19th April 2022 at Byadigi Panchayat, Sahabhavana. These activities were conducted to understand and spread awareness on disabilities to the stakeholders. 20 VRW,MRW and URW Government stakeholders of Byadagi Taluk of Haveri District participated at the program where Praveen V (OD/Livelihood Manager), GP Pawar (Assistant Teacher), Veerabhadrappa (Sign Language Teacher), Hanumanth D (Attender) ,Sudha Rani navi (Assistant Teacher), Sridevi Patted (Assistant Teacher), and Sharanappa (Early Interventionist) were also present. 7 staff were engaged in coordinating and conducting the program. #ngo #nonprofit

On 04th March 2022 we Celebrated the Mahasaraswati Pooja and Send-off Day Function in our Organization. In that function were conduct the several Activities and also Distribution of Exam pad and Geometry box to 10th class Children's by Donor. Principal Staff members and Children's were present during the function.
International Kannada Language Day

On 21st February 2022 we celebrated International Kannada Language Day in our organization. In that function were Students done the some various Activities in the Kannada Language. Hon’ Secretary, Principal, Staff members and Children’s were present during the function.
Sing Language Training for Children along with Parents

On 11th February 2022 were conduct Sing Language Training for Hearing Impaired Children along with the Parents and the main purpose of the training is to help interaction between Children and Parents in sign language. 07 Children's, 26 Parents and 06 Staff Members were present during the function.
Republic Day Celebration.

On 26th January 2022 we celebrated 73rd Republic Day in our Organization. The Chief guest for this programm was Dr. Siddalingesh J Tatti Chairman, Mr. Mahantesh Tatti Governing Council member of Shri B D Tatti Memorial Charitable Trust, Principal, Staff members and Children were present on that day.
From Special school to Normal school

07 years old Sinchana Lamani lives with her mother, father, and sister. She was born in Keralli Thanda which is rural side of North karanataka. From birth she was identified as hearing impairment.Parents showed her to many hospital and it did not helped the child as she was profound loss. She communicates usually gestures and with some speech. Her father came to know about Shri B D Tatti(A)memorial Charitable Trust Laxmeshwar through our BDT staff and visited the Shushravya Pre-primary school for Oral Deaf education and seek guidance for her condition. Over there her father was guided for welfare services such as disability pension and education and residential facilities. With lot of efforts in speech intervention she is now been expert in speaking and the studies, there is indeed improvement in the academic and social behavior aspect of Sinchana Lamani. Now she is studying in normal English medium school.
Aadhar Outreach Program

Fakkiragouda Patil, 9-year-old was born at Laxmeshwar District Gadag, Karnataka. At the age of Four (4), was diagnosed with Intellectual disability and is enrolled in BDT. His father earns his living working as a coolie in the local area to provide for the family of 5.The child was completely dependent on others for all his physical needs before intervention. According to the observation, he has no social skills, self-care, attention and interest and suffers from physical negligence. After primary intervention, his activities like feeding, toileting has improved along with his socializing skils with others and his ability to stand has improved. Now, the parents are making efforts to improve his communication skills. They are quite satisfied with the process his developmental activities are taking place. Karnataka Rajyotsava

On November 1st 2021 we celebrated Karnataka Rajyotsava in Our School. Mr. K A Baliger Retired Head master our chief guest said that we all have to preserve and cultivate the language of kannada. It is the responsibility of teachers to save the culture and practices of our country for generation to come. The Honorary Secretary Mr. Somanath Mahajanashettar of the institute presided over the program and said that the new policy will enable them to make technology based education accessible to their mother tongue a number of changes in the learning of particular school children.
From Home to Residential School

His father came to know about Shri B D Tatti(A)memorial Charitable Trust Laxmeshwar through our BDT staff and visited the residential school for hearing impairment seek guidance for his condition. Over there his father was guided for welfare services such as disability pension and education and residential facilities. With lot of efforts in sign language intervention he is now been expert in sign language and the studies, there is indeed improvement in the academic and social behavior aspect of Dayanand and he is champion in mallakamba sport.
Primary Intervention

On 12th october 2021, Abhishek P Karajagi, 6-year-old was born at Laxmeshwar District Gadag, Karnataka. The child enrolled in BDT at the age of 4 years with the diagnosis of Global Developmental Delay. He resides in a household of 6 and her father earns his living working as a coolie in the local area. He was completely dependent on others for all his needs. It was observed that he had no social skills, self-care, attention and interest and was not able to walk independently as he used to crawl. After primary intervention, his activities have developed and has started walking independently and got feeding, toileting, and started socializing with others. Now, his parents are putting efforts to improve his communication skills. His parents are happy with his developmental stages and thanks to the Aadhar Outreach Program, a capacity building program for staff on Primary Intervention( a joint collaboration of Biswa Gouri Charitable Trustand IDFC FIRST Bank
It is the small change that makes the biggest impact.
And more students have passed out from our residential school for the hearing impaired.
Students are mainstreamed to the normal school from our pre-primary school for hearing impaired.
Students have been given activity based therapy as part of our early education intervention program
Students have been enrolled in Anganwadi and school.
Students have been enrolled under social security schemes.
